After graduating in Applied Mathematics, André Rosendaal worked as software engineer for the Dutch Open University in a number of CBT projects. He is currently employed at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, where he is responsible for various eLearning projects. For over fifteen years, video in education has been one of his topics of interest. He contributed to several national and international projects such as Davideon and VideoAktiv. He is also the creator of the Virtual Cutter, an online tool for creating clips of streaming media. From 2009 until 2014, he was chair of the Dutch SIG Weblectures. He is currently member of the board of the Dutch SIG Media & Education.
