Giles Pepler

Giles Pepler is a Senior Consultant with Sero Consulting Ltd, a UK consultancy which specialises in digital media and the creative use of ICT in education. Before he joined Sero in 2006, Giles was Principal of a number of English further education sector colleges and a secondary school Headteacher. His work at Sero includes a study of e-activity in Scotland's colleges, annual reviews for Becta of the use of ICT in English further and adult education and assisting with the CAPITAL project, a joint research project with the University of Nottingham's LSRI on current and future trends in the use of technology in English schools and colleges. He is currently Deputy Project manager for VISCED, a trans-national study of virtual schools and colleges for the EU Lifelong Learning programme and is also involved in POERUP, another project in the same EU programme, which is carrying out research to understand how governments can stimulate the uptake of OER by policy means.
