This annual competition, organised by the\u00a0<strong>Media &amp; Learning Association<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>recognises the best use of media in education across all levels<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for entries that showcase outstanding use of multimedia in educational settings, including but not limited to:<em> <strong>videos, audios, simulations, AR\/VR\/XR apps, podcasts, vlogs, animations, any other innovative use of educational multimedia<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Submissions are welcome from<em><strong> students, teachers, schools, production facilities, universities, training companies, agencies, and anyone involved in the creation and use of educational multimedia<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>For many years, the MEDEA Awards have been a driving force of innovation and good practice in the use of media in education. These awards recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources, highlighting the exceptional work of producers, designers, and educators who inspire the educational community in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Dates and Events<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Submission Deadline:<\/strong> 28 February 2025<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finalists Announcement:<\/strong> March 2025<\/li>\n<li><strong>Awards Ceremony:<\/strong> During the Media &amp; Learning Conference \u2013\u00a0<em>Educational media that works<\/em> on 18-19 June 2025 in Leuven, Belgium<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost<\/strong>: Submission is FREE<\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit your entry here<\/strong>:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/awards.media-and-learning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/awards.media-and-learning.eu\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finalists will be invited to participate in the Media &amp; Learning Conference, where their entries will be featured on the conference agenda and in the MLA newsletter. The winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the conference.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The 2025 MEDEA Awards will feature the following prizes:<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The MEDEA Award \u2013 Best Educational Media Entry<\/strong>: For outstanding educational media, resources, tools, or services across all education and training sectors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Special Jury Prize<\/strong>: Recognising exceptional innovation in pedagogical or technical design.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Audience Favourite Prize<\/strong>: Decided live by the audience during the Awards Ceremony.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emerging Trend Focus \u2013 AI in Education<\/strong>: New this year, a special prize will honour innovative applications of\u00a0<strong>AI in educational media production or usage<\/strong>, spotlighting innovative trends in the field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Call for Judges<\/h3>\n<p>We are also looking for experienced judges to help review submissions!
