Their membership is led by the university&#8217;s Digital Education Service which launched the first University of Leeds online course on FutureLearn in 2013. Since then, the team have developed over 90 online courses which have been used and enjoyed by more than two million learners worldwide. The team&#8217;s expertise in pedagogical innovation and excellence in online learning has been demonstrated through a number of industry awards including the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/digitaleducation.leeds.ac.uk\/news\/transport-systems-global-issues-and-future-innovations-wins-at-the-medea-awards-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\">MEDEA Award<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/digitaleducation.leeds.ac.uk\/news\/test-article\/\" target=\"_blank\">Association of Learning Technologists (ALT) team of the year<\/a>\u00a0in 2015 and a PQ Magazine award in 2016.
