They are organising their programme of work under the following five pillars, namely <strong>engage <\/strong>with the wide range of media literacy practitioners, <strong>initiate <\/strong>pilot trials and campaigns to promote media literacy, <strong>establish <\/strong>best-practice design principles for media literacy, <strong>evaluate<\/strong> media literacy initiatives by producing core resources and guidance on what works and<strong> research<\/strong> the state of media literacy and share our evidence. The recently published document sets out Ofcom&#8217;s approach to promoting media literacy, and how it fits with their online regulatory role.
