The two days Kick-Off meeting took place on the 23 &amp; 24 January in Brussels, organised by lead partner, the Media &amp; Learning Association and hosted by Mediawijs, who brought together the consortium made up of: the Association for Communication and Media Culture (Croatia); Heidelberg School of Education (Germany); Mediawijs (Belgium); Dublin City University Institute for Future Media, Democracy, and Society (Ireland) and the Finnish Society on Media Education (Finland). The purpose of this 18 months project is to <strong>establish a value-added and sustainable network to provide guidance, resources, and support for European teacher educators and trainers in MIL<\/strong> (initial &amp; in-service teacher education) and in so doing, to directly <strong>advance students\u2019 abilities to tackle disinformation<\/strong>.
