href=\"https:\/\/benedmo.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">BENEDMO<\/a> the flemish-dutch EDMO (European Digital Media Observatory) hub identified more than 100 interventions from no fewer than 76 different providers.&nbsp;This publication provides an overview of useful Dutch-language materials (teaching packages, games, videos, etc.) that media-savvy professionals can implement in their programs on selection procedure:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Although there are several overviews of (educational) offerings, it is not easy for a teacher, librarian, youth worker or other media-savvy professional to gain insight into the usefulness of all these interventions.&nbsp;In addition, there is no generally recognised quality framework or quality mark with which these types of materials are assessed.&nbsp;To help them, BENEDMO selected a number of interventions that deserve a recommendation based on certain criteria and based on practical experience from the BENEDMO network.&nbsp;These criteria are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material is\u00a0<strong>free.<\/strong><\/mark><br><em>This means that it can be used and\/or downloaded without payment, in some cases with a special login.\u00a0This means that financial resources do not play a role in the accessibility of educational teaching materials.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material is\u00a0<strong>easy to use<\/strong><\/mark>.<br><em>This means that it can be used immediately, has a clear manual and does not require long training.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material is\u00a0<strong>recognisable for the target group.<\/strong><\/mark><br><em>Topics and definitions are made understandable and presented accessible using images or cases that match the experiences of the intended target group.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material\u00a0<strong>can be used in various settings.<\/strong><\/mark><br><em>This means that it can be used in schools, during 1-on-1 guidance and youth work.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material\u00a0<strong>can\u00a0be adapted to your own context<\/strong>\u00a0<\/mark>(by teacher, youth worker, librarian, etc.).<br><em>For example, a creative commons license is essential for teaching materials and posters.\u00a0For videos, the videos are \u201cshareable\u201d.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-gridlove-cat-275-color\">The material is\u00a0<strong>timeless.<\/strong><\/mark><strong><br><\/strong><em>This means that the intervention is not specifically tied to one event, such as the corona crisis.\u00a0However, such cases can be given as examples.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Because it concerns a Flemish-Dutch collaboration, both Flemish and Dutch interventions are included in
