{"id":30873,"date":"2024-01-18T15:03:12","date_gmt":"2024-01-18T14:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/type\/news\/join-the-media-learning-association-special-offer-copy\/"},"modified":"2024-01-18T15:10:19","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T14:10:19","slug":"join-the-media-learning-association-special-offer-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/type\/news\/join-the-media-learning-association-special-offer-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Join the Media &#038; Learning Association: Special Offer 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Media &amp; Learning Association has a <strong>special offer from February onwards<\/strong> whereby new member organisations (including higher education institutions, national or regional networks, government agencies, NGO&#8217;s, media authorities, training bodies, etc) who wish to join us now have the possibility of enrolling for <strong>600\u20ac<\/strong> instead of the <strong>usual 500\u20ac <a href=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">membership<\/a><\/strong>, and this <strong>includes one free registration<\/strong> for this year&#8217;s MLA Conference \u2018\u2019<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/event\/media-learning-2024-20-21-june\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Back to the Future?<\/a><\/strong><em>\u2019\u2019 <\/em>which will take place the 20-21 June 2024, Leuven, Belgium<em>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The benefits of membership include<\/strong>:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free access to&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/activities\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>our online workshop and seminars<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;for individuals from the member organisation (non-members pay a fee of 50 euros per person per event)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>20% reduction on the conference fee<\/strong>&nbsp;for any face-to-face events for individuals from the member organisation including our face-to-face conference planned for June 2024 in Leuven, Belgium.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to the moderated members\u2019 mail lists and Teams environments<\/strong>, which are used to share updates about opportunities for collaboration, new resources, events, etc. Members use these channels for relevant messaging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preferential publication<\/strong>&nbsp;for member organisations in the Media &amp; Learning news site and associated monthly newsletter currently sent to over 10,000 email addresses.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Involvement in association initiatives<\/strong>&nbsp;such as project incubation activities with a view to applying for joint funding from for example the European Commission.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support to members dissemination activities<\/strong>&nbsp;particularly regarding Europe project collaboration through dedicated promotion of specific events and outputs.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access to dedicated&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/series\/special-interest-groups\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>special interest groups (SIGs)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;established on specific topics: Media, AI, XR in Higher education, OEMR, Digital Media Literacy and Teacher Education in Digital and Media Literacy&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more about the membership please visit the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/become-a-member\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Become a member<\/a>&#8221; page.
