It is also committed to providing trustworthy information and push back on online toxicity, falsehoods and disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Media literacy training is one of the key pillars of its efforts in making the information space in the country a bit healthier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"601\" height=\"454\" src=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35910\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2.jpg 601w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2-300x227.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2-370x280.jpg 370w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2-270x204.jpg 270w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2-570x431.jpg 570w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture2-80x60.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Back in 2019,&nbsp;Seznam.cz&nbsp;kicked off a cool project called&nbsp;<strong>Seznam se s m\u00e9dii&nbsp;(Get to Know Media)<\/strong>&nbsp;to help teachers and librarians get better at media literacy. The programme offers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Online Courses<\/strong>: Teachers from all over Czechia can join free 90-minute online courses. They get to learn about different modules and teaching methods, which they can use in their own classes. Right now, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/odpovednost\/medialni-gramotnost\/seznam-se-s-medii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">17 different methodologies available for download<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Media Education Festival<\/strong>: Every summer,&nbsp;Seznam.cz&nbsp;hosts this unique <a href=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/odpovednost\/medialni-gramotnost\/seznam-se-s-medii\/festival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">festival<\/a> just for educators and librarians. More than 200 teachers and librarians have already attended three days packed with workshops, demo lessons, and visits to local newsrooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Media Education Academy<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/o-seznam.cz\/odpovednost\/medialni-gramotnost\/seznam-se-s-medii\/akademie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This academy<\/a> is perfect for teachers who have some basic background in media education but haven\u2019t started using it in their classes yet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Seznam se s m\u00e9dii Newsletter<\/strong>: A monthly newsletter that keeps readers updated on traditional and new media, social networks, and AI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guided tours<\/strong>: Seznam offer guided tours for journalism students and media educators from all around the world to discuss hot topics such as disinformation or AI, but also to visit studios and meet journalists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"451\" height=\"339\" src=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-35911\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3.jpg 451w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3-370x278.jpg 370w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3-270x203.jpg 270w, https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/files\/2024\/10\/Picture3-80x60.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 451px) 100vw, 451px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Seznam\u2019s media literacy programs are all about helping&nbsp;Czech&nbsp;people think critically and stay informed in today\u2019s media landscape.
