We are pleased to announce that Monika Theron will be joining the Media and Learning Association as the new Director, effective June 1st, 2025. With a background in film and media production, Monika transitioned into higher education eight years ago, where she has applied her expertise in media production, innovation, and ed-tech solutions. Most recently, she has served as a Data and Media Manager. Monika brings valuable forward-thinking strategies, a robust professional network, and a dedication to staying current with industry trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monika will take over this leadership role from Sally Reynolds who will be retiring in the Autumn. Since the association’s inception in 2012, Sally has been a part of the growth, guiding it through various stages – from a completely voluntary initiative with only 6 members to the respected and dynamic community of 100 members that it is today. Under Sally’s leadership, the association has brought together individuals and organisations passionate about media-based learning, media education, and literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
