Stakeholders, whereby individual citizens, national authorities, public or private organisations, are welcome to submit their views\u00a0<strong><u>by Monday 26 May 2025<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Media literacy is a key element of the Shield initiative, as part of the third theme on &#8220;strengthening\u00a0societal resilience and preparedness&#8221;. The three other themes are: countering disinformation and FIMI, ensuring the integrity of elections and democratic processes, and fostering citizens&#8217; engagement.\u00a0Individuals and organisations are invited to submit their input through this public consultation both on how they rank the importance of certain measures as well as their more general ideas and suggestions.
