The initiative aims to support educators with practical AI tools, lesson templates, and training resources all integrated directly into platforms many teachers already use, such as Google Classroom and Workspace for Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of this hub is the integration of <strong>Gemini<\/strong>, Google\u2019s AI assistant, into the education workflow. Teachers can use Gemini to generate lesson plans, differentiate materials for diverse learners, draft quizzes, and even create parent communication templates &#8211; helping them save time and reduce administrative burdens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside the tools, Google is also offering <strong>free professional development<\/strong>, including a self-paced <em>&#8220;<strong>Generative AI for Educators<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; <strong>course<\/strong> co-developed with <strong>MIT RAISE<\/strong>. Educators can earn certificates while gaining hands-on experience using AI responsibly and creatively in their classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Importantly, the AI Educator Hub emphasises <strong>ethical and inclusive AI use<\/strong>. Resources include classroom-ready activities on AI literacy, a Guardian\u2019s Guide to AI, and content promoting safe, thoughtful integration of AI technologies in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google\u2019s launch comes at a time when educators are navigating growing workloads and the need to prepare students for an AI-driven future.
