At the heart of the project lies the MEGASKILLS methodology, which demonstrates how commercial video games can be used as scalable, evidence-based tools to train and assess soft skills such as problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration, strategic thinking, and resilience. Live platform testing during the event enabled participants to experience this innovative approach firsthand, with support from the project\u2019s technical team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 11 December 2025, the Horizon Europe MEGASKILLS project held its Final Results Presentation Event in Brussels in a hybrid format, bringing together policymakers, researchers, educators, industry representatives, and SMEs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme showcased the MEGASKILLS journey and key outcomes, featuring two high-level panel discussions on the importance of soft skills for Europe\u2019s labour market and on the sustainability and scaling of game-based approaches to skills development. Participants also had the opportunity to test the MEGASKILLS platform first-hand and engage in networking sessions.
