The MEDEA Awards are pleased to announce the shortlisted nominees for the 2026 MEDEA Awards competition, recognising excellence and innovation in educational media across Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, the shortlist has been selected from 120 entries<\/strong>, reflecting an exceptionally strong and diverse field. The quality of submissions was very high throughout the competition<\/strong>, making the selection process particularly challenging for the jury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our volunteer judges<\/strong>, whose expertise, time, and thoughtful evaluations were essential in reviewing and assessing this year\u2019s outstanding entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The MEDEA Awards celebrate high-quality educational media productions and promote innovation in the use of media in education and training. The 2026 competition once again highlights the creativity, diversity, and impact of educational media initiatives from institutions and organisations around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The shortlisted nominees will be invited to participate in the MEDIA & Learning Annual Conference \u201cCo-creating the Future of Learning\u201d<\/a><\/strong>, taking place on 17\u201318 June 2026 in Leuven, Belgium<\/strong>, co-organised by KU Leuven<\/strong>. At the conference, they will have the opportunity to present their work and engage with the wider educational media community.
