{"id":47290,"date":"2026-06-24T16:16:31","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T14:16:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/?p=47290"},"modified":"2026-06-24T16:31:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T14:31:21","slug":"trend-workshop-on-immersive-learning-for-sustainable-education-at-the-media-learning-2026-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/subject\/ar-vr\/trend-workshop-on-immersive-learning-for-sustainable-education-at-the-media-learning-2026-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"TREnD workshop on immersive learning for sustainable education at the Media &amp; Learning 2026 Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday 17 June, our project partners led a workshop at the <strong>Media &amp; Learning 2026: Co-creating the Future of Learning Conference<\/strong>, exploring how immersive learning strategies can strengthen Education for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session used the <strong>TREnD (Teaching Resilience and Environmental Democracy)<\/strong> project as a case study and was led by <strong>Dario Fazzi<\/strong> (Leiden University) and <strong>Gaetano Di Tommaso<\/strong> (Roosevelt Institute for American Studies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participants looked at how approaches such as virtual exchange, critical mapping, and immersive technologies can deepen learning and build intercultural understanding.
