{"id":47297,"date":"2026-06-24T16:11:01","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T14:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/?p=47297"},"modified":"2026-06-24T16:11:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T14:11:05","slug":"miles-project-final-conference-brussels-27-november-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/media-and-learning.eu\/subject\/media-literacy\/miles-project-final-conference-brussels-27-november-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"MILES Project Final Conference, Brussels, 27 November 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Erasmus+ MILES project is wrapping up three years of work on media and information literacy, critical thinking, and disinformation in education, and they are closing with a conference worth attending. <strong>Against Disinformation \u2014 Towards Critical Thinking<\/strong> takes place on Friday <strong>27 November<\/strong> 2026 at the Flemish Parliament in <strong>Brussels<\/strong>, from <strong>09:00 to 15:00 CET<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MILES is a three year project, researching, developing educational materials, and piloting training programmes across ten European countries, with a focus on supporting teachers, students, and parents in developing media and information literacy. A distinctive element of the project has been its emphasis on pre-bunking, equipping people to recognise and resist misinformation before they encounter it, alongside data and digital literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme includes expert keynote speakers, two panel discussions, one on good practices from across Europe and one on policy, as well as a presentation of the project&#8217;s final results.
