As the EU negotiates the programme&#8217;s budget for 2028\u20132034, there is a real risk that funding will fall short of what is needed to sustain its impact. Although the European Commission has proposed a budget of 40.8\u20ac billion, inflation and the integration of new actions mean this would not represent a real increase. Some Member States are now seeking to reduce the budget even further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together with the Lifelong Learning Platform and partners across Europe, we are calling for <strong>at least 50\u20ac billion<\/strong> for Erasmus+ to ensure the programme can continue empowering learners, educators and communities across Europe. Erasmus+ is one of the EU&#8217;s greatest success stories, investing in education is investing in Europe&#8217;s future.
