A special tool kit elaborated jointly with experts with a simple set of concrete and comprehensive rules addressed to internet users helps to raise awareness about the danger of receiving and propagating disinformation, promote the use of fact-checking services and strengthen critical thinking skills. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"\/Users\/gogo\/Downloads\/as%20well%20as%20to%20enhance%20people-to-people%20and%20institutional%20cross-border%20cooperation%20in%20the%20field%20of%20countering%20disinformation%20and%20building%20our%20societies\u2019%20resilience,%20so%20important%20during%20very%20difficult%20times%20of%20coronavirus%20pandemic,%20social%20distancing%20and%20lockdown%20in%20many%20countries..\" target=\"_blank\">Start2think.info<\/a> also includes an online library with analysis, reports, handbooks, summaries of expert debates, guides, opinions and articles describing disinformation activities\/narratives\/techniques commonly used by malicious actors to create, distribute and amplify disinformation, as well as exploring the use of methods to study false viral news. They are based upon concrete instances of disinformation, both country specific, and universal. An engaging social media campaign on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/start2think.info\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/showcase\/start2think\/?viewAsMember=true\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ThinkStart2\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>, helps to promote the project\u2019s mission as well as the site itself, and&nbsp; also encourages social media users to report possible instances of disinformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is implemented by institutions from four EU countries: the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/csm.org.pl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Centre for International Relations<\/a>&nbsp;( the project leader) from Poland,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/europeanprojects.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">European Projects Association<\/a>&nbsp;from Belgium,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/informo.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Informo<\/a>&nbsp;from Croatia and the civic resilience center&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Respublic\/?fref=pb&amp;__tn__=%2Cd-a-R&amp;eid=ARCz3JFx9ADmxsbsQbS1RI-tyWDqYLMUZ0sC06kbF6cPauY8JEA0IA0g64sDrbLXWClSVK4SoDKxIo0I&amp;hc_location=profile_browser\" target=\"_blank\">Res Publica<\/a>&nbsp;from Lithuania with the support of the European Union. Based on their unique experiences, the project partners have worked closely together to jointly elaborate the project and its deliverables. This includes the content of the website and publication, a standardized approach to data collection and presentation, the  methodological assumptions of scripts for teachers, additional ideas for promotion in social media, and so on.&nbsp; The partners also addressed possible problems together, sharing their expertise and know-how. At the same time, they have been building a network of organisations and people dealing with media literacy and disinformation in their countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Centre for International Relations<\/strong> (CIR) is an independent, nonpartisan think tank, an influential forum for foreign policy analysis and debate, involving leading politicians, diplomats, civil servants, local government officials, businessmen, journalists, students and representatives of other NGOs. CIR\u2019s mission is to be actively involved in projects related to current challenges to regional security \u2013 information war, hybrid war and cyber security being one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>European Projects Association <\/strong>is a politically independent nonprofit organisation focused on research and development, innovation and internationalization of good practices in European projects. The use of innovative information and communication technologies is a distinctive characteristic of this cooperation network dedicated to supporting European projects&#8217; stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INFORMO<\/strong> is a civil society non-profit organisation particularly focusing on education. Its main activities are aimed at having an impact on territorial, business, professional and personal development.
