Kristiania University of Applied Sciences

Kristiania University of Applied Sciences is one of the oldest private institutions of higher education in Norway, established by Ernst G. Mortensen in 1914 as Norway’s first correspondence school, «Norsk Korrespondanseskole» (NKS). Today Kristiania is an independent and non-profit educational foundation, with around 18000 students – 5500 fully online (asynchronous) and 12500 on campus. Kristiania University of Applied Sciences consists of four Schools: School of Arts, Design and media, School of Health Sciences, School of Communication, Leadership and marketing, and School of Economics, Innovation and Technology. Kristiania has a big focus on the development and use of digital media for teaching and learning.
