Alessia Evi-Colombo

Alessia Evi-Colombo is a Junior Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET), and a Ph.D. student at the University of Geneva. Both her research and her Ph.D thesis are focused on the use of Video Technology in higher education and professional development. She holds a Master’s of Science in Communication and Developmental Psychology and one in Children and Adolescents Clinical Psychopathology.
Alessia’s academic interests include affective e-learning, video technology and video annotation as enablers of reflective practice, Learning-by-design and collaborative learning through video technology.
Alessia is currently involved in the ViSuAl Project, a European Union funded program aiming at modernizing European Higher Education Institutions through the use of video supported collaborative learning.
