R. Robert Gajewski

R. Robert Gajewski, PhD, DSc received his PhD (1989) and DSc (2007) at Faculty of Civil Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology. He is now associate professor at the faculty and delivers lectures on information technologies, applied computer sciences, computational thinking and computer methods in civil engineering. As a post-doc he has spent several years at TU Delf in Netherlands, TU Essen in Germany and University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. His fields of interest comprises two research areas, namely engineering computations as well as e-learning (technology enhanced learning - TEL), specifically such techniques as flipped classroom. Professor Gajewski is the author or co-author of 6 monographs and numerous papers in leading international journals. He was also active participant in international and national research projects dedicated to TEL. He delivered numerous lectures on e-Learning at international conferences. He is a member of International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP). Recently he is focused on lecture capture.
