The Open Content Toolkit developed and maintained by Theo Kuechel links to millions of items of contemporary and historical open-content items from around the world. The toolkit is designed to provide a platform to explore, discuss, use and share examples of open media, at all levels of education. Students and teachers can use open media archives and web portals to find resources for their work, safely and creatively, without fear of infringing copyright. It is intended to be a truly cross-curricular knowledge resource. It is free and open to all with an interest in open resources, media archives, education cultural heritage and digital humanities.
