How to run an online EduHackathon – 7 July 2020

How suitable are hackathons for educational innovation and capacity building in Higher Education in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic? In the light of increasing reliance on online teaching, hackathons can offer a quick way of rethinking teaching and assessment.

In this online workshop, you will learn about some of the key design thinking principles that can be used in hackathons, explore insights and the main lessons learned from the experience of running online EduHackathons from different EduHack project partners. This interactive half-day online event is particularly aimed at members of the EduHack extended network, but anyone who is responsible for enhancing the digital skills and competences of academic staff in their university or higher education institution is welcome to attend.

Participants will also be provided with access to a number of resources and tools relevant that are useful when planning and delivering hackathons. Registration to participate is open and available here.
