Helping students and teaching staff access high-quality Open Education (Media) Resources

Teachers, school service providers and academic staff sometimes find it difficult to create and/or identify good quality Open Educational Resources (OER) including media-based materials. During this session we will be discussing different approaches to making it easier for teachers to find and use such resources as well as creating their own.

• Fiona Schmidbauer, ENCORE+ project, State University Karlsruhe, Germany talking about supporting innovation and quality OER repositories. (Presentation)
• Barbara Quarta, European Schoolnet talking about the reasons, issues and advantages of using OERs and presenting the Scientix portal. (Presentation)
