Mid Sweden University is a place with a lot of energy and warmth where people can meet, be inspired, and think in new ways. Mid Sweden University is one of the leading universities in Sweden in terms of distance education and our research is cutting edge in several areas.
Our mission is to inform and inspire better management in practice by challenging and extending the understanding of people, teams, organisations and markets, and the economic, psychological, social, political and technological contexts in which they operate worldwide. From our setting in a world-class social science institution at the heart of a leading global city, we achieve our mission by producing original and robust research insights, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based education. We are proud to be part of LSE, an institution that ranks #5 in the world for social sciences and management (QS World University Rankings 2023) and #2 in the UK by percentage of overall four and three star in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021). We engage with people and organisations worldwide, across the private, public, and third sectors, who are motivated to improve the world through better understanding and practice of management.
