The 8th Global Media and Information Literacy Week takes place from 24 to 31 October and UNESCO and its partners are calling all stakeholders to join the celebration of Media and Information Literacy by organising events or initiatives in their communities, cities, regions, or online. This year’s edition will continue to focus on the cities and citizens in the digital age. MIL provides citizens with key competencies for life-long learning, work, and in all aspects of life.
