Inholland University is located in the western part of the Netherlands and has 8 campusses. The department IVT supports teachers and staff with, video and communication technology, to use hybrid and connected classrooms IVT works closely together with TLT. All Digital (previously known as Telecentre Europe) is a leading pan-European association based in Brussels, representing member organisations across Europe that work with 25,000 digital competence centres. All Digital focus to support Europeans that have an insufficient level of digital skills. That means that they’re having less chances to find work, to use online services, to have a better quality of life, to be included in today’s society.
The Digital Education Team work alongside faculty to deliver fully online, higher education courses. The digital media producers collaborate with subject experts to identify where media is best utilised within the context of the learner journey, with a focus on creating tutor presence, and building in sustainable media practices at each stage of production. Beyond creating course content, media with a broader scope is produced, and interests lie in research and innovation that opens up new approaches to the use and application of media within (online and face-to-face) learning environments.
We believe that moving image and sound play a crucial role in education and research. By incorporating these dynamic elements alongside the written word, our members can enhance comprehension, cater to diverse learning styles, and engage attention. Through audiovisual means, we can effectively convey emotions, demonstrate practical skills, and provide valuable context to the subject matter.
