About this member

Since 1495, the University of Aberdeen has held space for debate, discussion and discourse, sparking lasting, generational change. For over 525 years we have been at the forefront of education, leading innovation with pioneering research. Our medieval campus has helped shape the modern world and now sits at the centre of global energy transition in Aberdeen; alongside our Foresterhill campus providing preventive healthcare solutions that push the boundaries of health research. With our diverse student population exploring perspectives through different lenses, our researchers are pushing boundaries in five key interdisciplinary areas, and our ever-evolving community of alumni going beyond Aberdeen to spark change globally, the people of Aberdeen are truly original, world changing boundary breakers.
