It takes textual input such as a PDF, slide deck or script, and an AI avatar presents it as a video that you can edit scene by scene, much like a presentation. Translation into more than 100 languages is built in, and the company is GDPR compliant and says it does not train its AI on customer content.
The free Starter plan is enough to explore the workflow, with 20 video minutes a month and the full avatar library. For finished content, though, you will need the Professional plan at $59 a month on annual billing, which adds MP4 downloads, watermark removal and SCORM export. Unused minutes do not roll over, and the newer, more realistic avatars come only with a small monthly allowance.
Users rate it high so far, with ease of use the most common praise, although few comparison reviews rank its avatars behind HeyGen’s and Synthesia’s for realism.
