From 10 to 12 November 2026, the global XR community meets inside virtual reality for the sixth edition of IMMERSIVE X. Under the theme “Reclaim the Future”, the festival explores how XR and immersive media can help us imagine and shape positive futures, for society, for our sectors and for ourselves.
More than 100 presenters will contribute across nine tracks, including a dedicated Academia track, with speakers from universities such as Goldsmiths, the University of Galway, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and UCLouvain. Rather than traditional presentations, sessions are designed as experiences: interactive talks, workshops, world tours, live demos and performances, hosted on platforms such as VRChat, ENGAGE and Hubs.
The festival is made for VR headsets, but most sessions can also be joined on other devices, and selected sessions will be livestreamed. Attendance is free of charge. Newcomers are asked to apply for an invitation, while returning community members can reserve their seat directly.
For anyone interested in immersive learning, it’s a rare chance to experience XR from the inside rather than read about it.
