The MEDEA Awards 2027 are open for entries!
Since 2008, the MEDEA Awards have celebrated excellence and innovation in the use of media for education and training. From videos and animations to immersive experiences and interactive learning resources, the Awards recognise outstanding educational media from around the world. The best entries will be celebrated at the Media & Learning Conference on 16 and 17 June 2027 in Leuven, Belgium, where the winners will be announced and presented with their awards. Past winners include The Social Media Trap by ClickView (Australia, 2026), Supercampus by 3Cat (Spain, 2025) and Geld verstehen digital by FWU (Germany, 2024).
Alongside the prestigious MEDEA Award, this year’s Special Thematic Prize is dedicated to Digital and Media Literacy, recognising innovative approaches to developing critical media skills. Two further distinctions will be awarded: the Special Jury Prize for an exceptional entry and the Audience Prize, chosen by public vote.
Entry is free, submissions are welcome in any language, and all entries are evaluated by an international panel of experts. Finalists will be invited to the Media & Learning Conference in Leuven.
