Recognising and Rewarding Excellence in the use of media to support learning and teaching.
The winners of the MEDEA Awards 2026 were announced during the MEDEA Awards Ceremony held on 17 June 2026 in Leuven, Belgium, as part of the Media & Learning Conference. This year’s finalists were selected from 120 entries submitted from 34 countries, reflecting an exceptionally strong and diverse field. The quality of submissions was outstanding, making the selection process particularly challenging for the international jury of 64 volunteer experts from 33 countries.
We warmly congratulate all finalists and winners for their exceptional achievements and thank every organisation that submitted an entry this year.
As part of the awards ceremony, the organisers also recognised the invaluable contribution of the volunteer judging panel. This year’s judges’ appreciation draw selected Luc Debert, Multimedia Producer at Université de Lorraine (France), as a small token of thanks for his commitment.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our volunteer judges, whose expertise, time and thoughtful evaluations made this year’s competition possible.
