Within the university, the DigiTeach-Institute (Institute for Digital Transformation and E-Learning) serves as a central unit for advancing digital teaching and learning. It supports lecturers in designing and improving courses using digital technologies, develops innovative teaching concepts, and conducts research on digital education and AI in higher education. The institute provides training, consulting, media production, and support for digital assessments, and actively explores the use of emerging technologies such as generative AI to enhance teaching and learning practices.
Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk) provides Bachelor and Master’s degree studies as well as pedagogical studies at the School of Professional Teacher Education.
