Augmented World Expo (AWE) and Stereopsia have merged their annual flagship events to launch UnitedXR Europe, positioning it as the continent’s leading gathering for the XR community.
The event takes place 7–9 December 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, at Maison de la Poste. UnitedXR Europe replaces both AWE EU and Stereopsia Europe, drawing on a combined 32 years of experience from its co-producers in the XR industry.
The programme brings together AWE’s exhibition model, featuring over 125 exhibitors ranging from global XR leaders to innovative startups, with Stereopsia’s conference programming, workshops, and long-standing ties to European institutions and initiatives such as XR4Europe and XR Valley.
Highlights include a scientific conference track, the European XR Awards, a startup pitch competition, and the European Market for Immersive Creativity (EMIC), a dedicated B2B space for content creators, investors, and distributors. An Enterprise VIP Programme is also on offer for organisations exploring XR adoption, featuring tailored matchmaking and expert-led roundtables.
The event is funded under the Creative Europe MEDIA programme, reflecting the growing strategic importance of immersive technologies within European cultural and innovation policy.
