Bett UK, the annual education technology event, will return to ExCeL London from 20 to 22 January 2027. Registration and initial speaker announcements are now open, alongside a call for proposals for those interested in contributing to the 2027 agenda.
The programme is organised across nine content stages, including the Arena as the event’s main stage, and the Ahead Auditorium, which focuses on higher education topics such as student retention, digital learning for international students, cyber resilience, and data management. New for 2027 is the Policy in Practice Theatre, aimed at policymakers, researchers and education leaders exploring how policy decisions translate into practice, covering areas such as AI evidence in education, inclusion, and skills development. A separate Tech in Action theatre is dedicated to product demonstrations, helping attendees evaluate specific hardware and software.
Established programme strands return for 2027, including Tech User Labs, which will move onto the show floor into purpose-built rooms for specialised tutorials, TableTalks, which bring together individuals from schools, universities and governments around shared topics of interest, and the SEND Village, which showcases resources for learners with special educational needs. Bett also continues its Esports strand, exploring classroom applications of the format, and its Women in EdTech programme.
University and college staff attending can use the event to explore teaching methodologies, engage with tools for student engagement, and network around institutional digital transformation, while school-based educators have access to free CPD-accredited content across the various stages. Attendance is free for teachers, students and general education-sector attendees, with paid options for exhibitors and sponsors.
