Suann Yi

Project Officer for Digital and Media Literacy at the Media & Learning Association, supporting projects and activities that promote digital and media literacy. Suann previously worked as a primary school teacher in South Korea, where she developed classroom curricula, ran a school-wide Basic Academic Skills Support programme, and coordinated a school-wide Culture and Arts Education curriculum. She has also worked as Project Manager at cody21 by Acodemy, coordinating the translation of educational resources on computer science and media literacy and training educators in platform use. Suann holds a Master of Educational Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with a dissertation on teachers’ perceptions of digital media literacy in South Korea, and is currently pursuing a Master of Digital Media and Society at KU Leuven.
