On 21 May 2025, from 14:00 to 15:15 CEST, our association will host an online session titled Beyond the Birds and the Bees: Media Literacy in the Digital Age of Sexuality. This webinar is part of the ongoing Wednesday Webinars on Digital & Media Literacy in Europe series.
The session will explore how digital media influences young people’s understanding of sexuality, relationships, and consent. It will address online risks such as sexting, revenge porn, and grooming, and discuss how media literacy can help navigate these challenges. The webinar will also present best practices for integrating media literacy into sexual education, aiming to equip educators with tools to foster critical thinking and promote healthy digital habits.
Speakers include Emma Pösö, Advisor at Pelastakaa Lapset (Save the Children Finland), and Vanessa Meyer, co-founder and CEO of KNOWBODY.
