FlexClip is a very easy-to-use online video editor with all the basic functionalities that the beginner may require. This is not a full-fledged professional editor like Premiere, Avid, Final Cut or Lightworks but it is a lot cheaper and it works completely online so no need to install any software on your computer. The interface is very light and uncluttered and uses the storyboard metaphor where you put your clips or media just one after the other in the order you want to see them in your final product. You can upload your own media (video, images, music…) with a limit of 400 MB per clip. You can also use online media from the FlexClip clip bank. A range of transitions is available (cut, fade, flips, zoom etc.) and you can add a voice over, or (animated) titles by means of a simple but powerful graphical text editor.
The editor handles videos (MP4, MOV) in 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16 (the latter format for smart phone users đ who love their vertical camera images) and photos in multiple formats (JPG, PNG, SVG, BMP, GIF). Videoclips can be easily split or trimmed. The final video can be exported in 480P resolution for free (but with watermark). 720P and 1080P resolutions are possible with the paid version. The free version also limits the number of projects and stock videos.
When you are ambitious in your video projects, this may be too basic for you, multiple layers for example is not an option. This editor may be right if you want to use an editor for training or learning projects: there is no learning curve and the hardware requirements are minimal. https://www.flexclip.com/
