About this member

Telecentar is a Croatian non-profit organisation established in 2005 to advance digital and media literacy. It coordinates the Digital Literacy Network, which brings together 35 civil society and public sector organisations. Through research and policy development, Telecentar provides evidence-based recommendations that have been incorporated into key national frameworks, including the Digital Croatia Strategy 2032, the National Education System Development Plan 2027, and the Policy Programme Path to the Digital Decade 2030.

Higher Education Technology Manager’s Alliance (HETMA)

The Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance (HETMA) is a global, volunteer-led organisation dedicated to supporting and advancing professionals working in higher education audiovisual (AV) and technology management. HETMA provides a platform for collaboration, professional development, and industry engagement through initiatives such as advisory boards, training programmes, scholarships, events, and community-driven resources.

AMH

The „Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Medieneinrichtungen an Hochschulen e.V.“ (amh), which was founded in 1991, is a voluntary association of media centres and comparable media institutions at universities in German-speaking countries. It promotes science and research, teaching and study as well as scientific further education by supporting the media centres at universities with regard to the development, production and organisation of the use of audiovisual information and communication media. Right now, the amh has around 120 members from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Italian Association for Media Education (MED)

MED is the Italian Association for Media Education. It was founded in 1996 by a group of academics, media professionals, teachers, and educators. Among other publications, since 2010, MED has published the journal Media Education. (https://oaj.fupress.net/index.php/med/index) MED works in the field of training teachers, school leaders, educators, university students, social workers, and media professionals. It also carries out projects (both national and international) for the experimentation of media education activities in formal and non-formal educational settings. In addition to regional events and training courses, since 1996, it has organised a national Summer School in Media Education. MED is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education for teachers’ training.
