Google has appointed Ecorys to carry out a media literacy policy study. Gathering evidence from across Europe, this new research aims to:
- map and review policies supporting media literacy at EU and country levels.
- provide learning and insights from Europe’s diverse media literacy initiatives; and,
- assess the implications of emerging technologies, including Generative AI.
As part of the study, Ecorys is launching an EU-wide survey to gather feedback from the sector on what works when funding, delivering or evaluating media literacy initiatives.
