The call for proposals is now open for the Media & Learning Association’s annual conference, which returns to Leuven, Belgium, on 16–17 June 2027. Organised with the support of KU Leuven Learning Lab under the tagline “From innovation to educational impact”, the conference brings together educators, researchers, media professionals, learning designers, innovators and policymakers to explore how media and technology can enrich teaching and learning in higher education.
This year’s topics include future-proofing audiovisual services, best practices in adopting XR, AI and other emerging technologies, and digital sovereignty and autonomy in higher education. We welcome proposals for presentations, PechaKucha talks, workshops, discussion topics and demonstrations. The deadline for submissions is 18 December 2026. Learn more and submit your proposal here.
