This week the board of the Media & Learning Association agreed to organise the announcement of the winner of this year’s MEDEA Awards during a webinar on 28 October. We are also going to organise throughout October a chance for the public to vote for the entry that they think should win – this process will kick-off at the start of October. Finalists this year come from Spain, Norway, UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Portugal – you will find the details of who they are here.
For more than 12 years, the MEDEA Awards has been encouraging innovation and good practice in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education. These annual awards recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources and bring to the forefront those producers, designers and teaching staff who provide such inspiration to the entire educational community, particularly in Europe.
