Registration is now open for MLA4MedLit, the Media & Learning Association’s annual conference exploring emerging priorities in digital and media literacy. The conference will take place online from 13:00 to 17:15 CEST on Friday, 23 October 2026.
As media literacy becomes an increasingly central part of digital citizenship and societal resilience, the conference invites participants to step back and question some of the field’s own assumptions: who is actually being reached, who is being left behind, and who gets to decide what “literacy for everyone” truly means.
Bringing together researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and civil society actors, this 2026 edition makes space for critical reflection on who media literacy truly serves, and at what cost when it falls short.
