NTNU is Norway’s largest university with over 40000 students in three cities and is represented in MLA by the Section for Teaching and Learning Support (SLS). SLS provides support for NTNU’s academic staff with both technical and didactic solutions to their teaching, which in turn will improve learning opportunities for the students. Media production and technical support represent a major part of the Section’s activities.

National Electronic Mass Media Council of Latvia

The National Electronic Media Council of Latvia (hereinafter – NEPLP) is an independent, autonomous institution that represents the public interest in the field of electronic mass media. One of the NEPLP competencies and strategic priorities is the promotion of media literacy in Latvia. To support this effort, NEPLP has developed a media literacy database (https://datubaze.neplp.lv/) with the goal of creating a place where all materials about media literacy can be found in one place. The database provides easy access to information, news, and updates on upcoming events. The database consolidates a wide range of resources, including research studies, educational materials, videos, audio content, conference documents, infographics, project descriptions, and more.

Working alongside cultural, media and government organisations, meemoo, Flemish Institute for Archives provides services, expert knowledge and advice for the preservation of (digital) archives. Among other things, meemoo digitises and archives Flemish audiovisual content for over 160 partner organisations and aims to make this content accessible and usable through platforms such as The Archive for Education, which offers a selection of audio and video for teachers to use in the classroom.

Mediawijs (imec vzw)

Mediawijs is the Flemish Knowledge Centre for Digital and Media Literacy at imec vzw (the world-leading R&D and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies) on the initiative of the Flemish Minister for Media. We are the central hub for the Flemish community for stimulating Flemish citizens to use digital technology and media actively, creatively, consciously and critically to participate in society. To that end we facilitate consultation, networks and cooperation, inspire with training, sharing knowledge and practice development, information and campaigns, keeps tabs on all things digital and media (literacy), and play an active role in developing policy.
