FWU is Germany’s leading producer of audio-visual, didactic, and interactive media for schools. Founded in 1950, it is a non-profit corporation with the 16 Federal States as shareholders. We are involved in national and international projects about media infrastructure for secondary and vocational schools, test procedures for digital educational media, digital identity management and metadata. We are experienced in copyright and licensing issues (especially OER) and have held teachers training and workshops for these areas. We are also interested in machine-readable curricula, ML-based metadata generation, pan-European content hub etc.
