The second edition of the festival will take place in Zagreb, Croatia on 28 Feb – 1 March. Over two days, the festival will explore crucial themes shaping our relationship with information and media nowadays through talks, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Before Croatia, Voices kicked off in Florence back in March 2024. Over 1300 participants attended sessions tackling artificial intelligence and journalism, disinformation, safety of journalists, the challenges within media economic models, media literacy, elections’ integrity, EU legislation on media, digital parenting, and digital well-being, among others.
The festival is an itinerant initiative that moves across different European cities to engage with different communities, while emphasising media freedom and media literacy as essential elements for the functioning of our societies. Visit the Voices website.
