How can educators help learners distinguish reliable information from misleading or false content online? The Erasmus+ project TackleDisInfo offers a collection of practical learning resources designed to address this increasingly important challenge. Developed by five European organisations, the project has produced four training modules covering digital literacy, critical thinking, emotional awareness, fact-checking techniques and the challenges of disinformation in different professional settings.

The resources are primarily intended for teachers, educators and trainers in vocational education and training, but are also relevant to secondary school teachers, youth workers, adult educators and anyone involved in developing media literacy and critical thinking skills. Educational professionals can use the materials to strengthen their own understanding of disinformation or integrate them directly into lessons, workshops and training activities. The interactive learning platform brings together real-world examples, videos, quizzes and practical exercises. It also explores how artificial intelligence, social media and online platforms influence the way information is created, shared and trusted.

For the Media & Learning community, TackleDisInfo offers accessible, ready-to-use materials that can support media literacy education across different learning environments. The combination of practical activities and real-world examples makes it a useful resource for helping learners of different ages recognise misleading information and become more critical consumers of online content.
