HolonIQ’s recent Global Executive Panel survey indicates a growing adoption of AI and emerging capability building. This survey was carried out in the second half of March 2019 and included responses from 377 executives in more than 25 countries across a broad range of different educational institutions, education technology and service companies and other stakeholders. The greatest potential for AI was agreed to be in the areas of testing and assessment while post-secondary and language learning were also considered to be sectors where AI would have an impact. A lack of a clear AI strategy was seen to be the biggest barrier to adoption.
