Interesting results emerging from the recent THE Leaders Survey of 200 university leaders from 53 territories. This survey investigated how university leaders felt the move online had worked out and what the impacts would be in the future. Results cover short, medium and long term impacts as well as possible impacts on finances. Several results are particularly revealing, like the fact that 62% of those asked agree that academics in their institution should be held personally accountable if their online teaching receives low marks in student assessment…. the time for support to academics in how to improve their online teaching skills has definitely arrived!
