Het Archief voor Onderwijs (Archive for Education) has been updated and re-launched and contains lots of new resources and functionalities aimed at helping teachers in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium use and re-use audiovisual archive materials for their lessons. The newly launched site includes an improved search function and is aimed at all school-going pupils. This initiative is supported by a wide range of partners including TV stations and cultural archives. The new site provides lots of ideas about using audiovisual archives for teaching and learning including lesson plans for activities aimed at secondary level classes.
